The Service

Recovery Church at Gracelife meets three nights a week. Monday night (6:30PM) is Gracelife Recovery, which is a pizza party, speaker meeting, and food boxes distribution. Tuesday night (7:00 PM) is a 12-Step Class called, "The Principle Approach” and it covers the steps, the principles of recovery, and the Bible connection to both. Wednesday night (7:00 PM) is The Spirit of Recovery which is a recovery-based Bible class, that teaches recovery from the Scriptures.

Bob and Lorri Cluckey

Recovery Ministry Leaders / Teacher

Bob and Lorri have been engaged in the recovery community for many years. Serving as leaders in many capacities, their heart for the suffering alcoholics and addicts, has been consistently at the forefront of their ministry. They lead “The Spirit of Recovery”, on Wednesday evenings. This is a recovery based Bible Study, designed to connect those in recovery, with a solid understanding of the foundations of recovery, found in the Bible. They love the suffering addict and alcoholic, and they love Jesus.

Dr. David Sutton

Campus Pastor

Dr. Sutton has has been free from alcohol and drug addictions for over 43 years. He holds a PhD in Psychology and a Doctorate in Divinity; has served as an ordained minister for over 38 years. His assignments have included training addictions counselors, teaching those preparing for ministry, and has been a mentor to many throughout his career. He currently has published several books and continues to write. David travels internationally teaching both addictions recovery and prayer seminars. David serves as a National Speaker and Coach for the Recovery Church Movement.

Dr. Joe Davis

Lead Pastor

Joe Davis serves as the Lead Pastor at Gracelife Church in Sarasota. He is an skilled Bible teacher, dedicated pastor and has a heart for those with life’s challenges. His compassion for the men and women coming out of addiction is evidenced in his openness to build a church with strong pathways for recovery. He is an author and has written several books. His life is a reflection of the love of Christ. Pastor Joes weekly teaching inspire, challenge and are theologically sound.

Jackie Laningham

Children's Ministry Coordinator / GraceLife Recovery Facilitator

Jackie serves as the Children’s Ministry leader at Gracelife. However, her passion for addiction comes out of her personal journey into recovery. She is a key leader for Gracelife Recovery that meets on Monday evenings. This ministry evening starts with free pizza, a speaker meeting and boxes of food for those who need it.
