SERVICE
The Service
Recovery Church Boca Raton meets every Wednesday night at 7 pm. We begin the service with relevant Christ-centered worship music, followed by a sermon or testimony and then a 20 minute “open-share” time in which people can share what is on their hearts in a small group setting. The last Friday of every month is anniversary night. It is a time in which we celebrate lengths of recovery and hand out corresponding crosses as tangible reminders of the changes God has made in our lives.

Mitch Thompson
Servant Leader
Through the pain of addiction and alcoholism I found Jesus and His Church. In my early sobriety, I attended a local church that helped me find freedom through discipleship and the 12 steps which made Recovery Church so attractive to me. I have a deep passion and desire to minister to those struggling with addiction and love to help birth new ministries/efforts. I get the honor to work with so many amazing people at Recovery Church and there is so much joy watching God radically transform addicts and alcoholics! I am married to my beautiful wife Jolene and have two beautiful sons who I adore.
