SERVICE
The Service
Recovery Church Greenacres meets every Saturday at 7:00 PM!Our services will include a time of praise and worship, biblical preaching and teaching, and a time of fellowship. Recovery Church Greenacres services will focus on the saving and healing power of Jesus Christ and a solution to our alchoholism and addictions, highlighting the biblical principals and processes embedded in all 12-Step programs. The last Saturday of the month will be set aside for Anniversary celebrations, testimony, and baptisms as we provide the opportunity to give glory to God for the miraculous work He is accomplishing in the lives of our community!

THE LEADERSHIP TEAM
(All leaders are listed alphabetically by first name)
Dwight Eldred
Leader
Jesus got Dwight’s attention while he was locked up in prison due to his abuse of drugs and alcohol. As he worked the steps inside and eventually, outside of prison, he learned that he had been locked up for years prior to the locked doors and barbed wire. He found freedom in prison through the 12 steps of recovery. Dwight got a MSW degree after prison and has spent the last 28 years helping others with addiction problems. He visits Martin Correctional Institute every Monday to help with the Recovery Church in a prison. Dwight attends West Pines Baptist Church in Greenacres with his wife Darlene, their daughter Rachel and two of their grandchildren. He is looking forward to helping those who struggle with addictions to find Jesus at Greenacres Recovery Church.
John Anderer
Campus Lead
John Anderer was delivered out of a seemingly hopeless drug addiction by the saving grace and healing power of Jesus Christ in 2006 and has been serving in the local church and the 12 step recovery community of Palm Beach County and beyond ever since! John and his wife Tracie have made their home in Palm Springs, Florida, and as servant leaders of Recovery Church Greenacres their prayers are that God may use them to help provide a lighthouse to lost and broken, where they can build their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and also help guide the addict and alcoholic who still suffers to a solution for their soul sickness that left untreated would ultimately destroy them. John and Tracie are beyond grateful for the opportunity God has given them and for the life that only Jesus Christ could provide.
Patti Thompson
Leader
Patti was delivered out of a hopeless addiction in the summer of 2010 and has devoted her life since then to serving Jesus Christ and her community through the local church in many ways!
Patti was instrumental in helping form and facilitate the Womens substance abuse recovery ministry at her previous church and served those hurting women, and her sisters in Christ faithfully for 5 years! Today Patti leads a bible study with over 30 women at her church and is grateful for the opportunity to serve at Recovery Church Greenacres! Jesus Christ has dramatically and eternally changed Pattis's life and it is Jesus whom she leans on daily.
