Lisa Johnson
Servant Leader
Lisa Johnson was raised in a Christian household and attended church starting from an early age. Even so, she struggled with substance abuse starting in her early 20s. It wasn't until she began her 12-step journey into sobriety that she started to understand the reasons behind her addiction and began to surrender it to the Lord. She understands, firsthand, how easily addiction can be ignored or stigmatized within the church and is passionate about helping others find recovery and new life in Christ.
Matt Johnson
Servant Leader
Matt has 20 years of experience as a lay church leader and 30 years of experience as someone who has battled addiction. He’s seen firsthand the trauma and destruction of drugs and alcohol, and the transformational healing of recovery and grace. His focus is on spiritual formation through the 12 steps and gospel-centered discipleship.
