The Service
Recovery Church Live Oak meets at 7:00 PM with dinner at 6:30 PM. We have a meeting based on bridging the gap between the Church and the recovery community. We encourage each other through our experience, strength and hope. Christ is the center of our recovery and the 12-Steps, sponsoring and service work are the pillars we follow. We have an open meeting where all are invited to see what we believe. We have a topic, open discussion and prayer time for those who are in need. We incorporate worship music and encourage all to participate.

Greg spent 35 years shackled to my drug of choice. On Sept 18th 2014, he surrendered his will to Jesus Christ! The transformation process was a journey well traveled and prosperous. The man he is today does not resemble in any way the man he was during his active addiction. He can and do all things through Christ! 6 years of incarceration from 4 trips inside the walls , many detoxes, rehabs and extended recovery stays later has brought him to the place he is today...redeemed and recovered from the obsession and compulsion to use any mind altering substance! Thank you Jesus!

Laura spent 27 years enslaved to heraddiction. Through many failures and demoralizing events such as incarceration, job losses, residence moves etc, it came to a point that she needed to try something different. Through the program of AA, she was able to gain a firm foundation with her group, her sponsor and her eventual service work by taking meetings into the prisons and jails. Currently, I have 17 years of continuous clean and sober time! Hallelujah!
