SERVICE
The Service
Join us at Recovery Church Macon for a transformative and uplifting experience! Our services feature a diverse array of worship music throughout, including live performances once a month. Each month, we also host an Anniversary Night to celebrate the hard work and dedication of individuals on their recovery journey. Our services are enriched with bold and impactful messages delivered by men and women who walk alongside you in the same journey, committed to remaining obedient to the Lord's word and staying sober. We conclude each service with an Open Share session, providing you the opportunity to relate to the message and share your own experiences. Once a month, we feature a powerful Testimony Night, where you can hear inspiring stories of transformation and hope. Come be a part of our supportive and dynamic community at Recovery Church Macon!

THE LEADERSHIP TEAM
(All leaders are listed alphabetically by first name)

Yvea Harden
Servant Leader
Yvea Harden is a 36-year-old passionate advocate for recovery and healing. After enduring years of worldly abuse, including struggles with drugs, alcohol, narcissistic abuse, and childhood sexual trauma from the age of 9 to 14, Yvea found herself spiraling down a challenging path that led her away from God. However, everything changed in 2019 when, during a pivotal time of incarceration, she surrendered her life back to Christ, marking the beginning of her transformative journey. In 2024, Yvea re-discovered Central City Church, where she formed a profound connection with our Father, Yeshua. This newfound faith has been a catalyst for remarkable miracles in her life, including the restoration of relationships with her children and the release of burdens from her past. It was also during this time that she met her husband, Michael Harden, who shares her passion for bringing people closer to Christ. And together we will support one another in the recovery church. As a devoted mother and wife, Yvea is committed to supporting fellow mothers and women who are navigating their own life challenges. She believes in the power of love as the most important commandment and strives to inspire others through her journey of recovery and faith. Helping others find their true divine identity. Yvea’s favorite scripture, Romans 5:8 (NLT) , resonates deeply with her: “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” This verse serves as a reminder of the divine care and love that guides her every day.

Zac Anderton
Campus Leader
Zac’s journey has been marked by struggles with rejection, abandonment, and feelings of never being good enough. Pushed, him toward substance abuse in search of comfort. He felt alienated from religion and distanced himself from anything related to it. His efforts to build a family were clouded by codependency and toxic relationships, resulting in four children and three grandchildren.
In 2023, Zac’s life took a devastating turn when he found himself in the ICU in Austin, Texas, separated from his loved ones and unable to walk without assistance. His road to recovery was extremely hard, but today—more than two years later—he stands as a living testament to God’s grace. He shares his story to reveal the power found in the name of Jesus and the divine purpose within each of us.
"For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength." – Philippians 4:13
This verse reminds us that through Christ’s strength, we can overcome even the most overwhelming obstacles. Zac’s transformation from despair to hope demonstrates the limitless power of faith and perseverance. His testimony serves as a beacon of inspiration, reminding us that no matter how lost we may feel, redemption is always within reach. With God’s love, we can rise above our past and embrace a future filled with purpose and joy.
