Recovery Church Queen City (RCQC) is grateful to bring Christ centered recovery to Charlotte, NC. We meet every Monday at 7pm, starting with live worship music and including testimony or teaching from our servants leaders. Join us to experience the freedom of Jesus and recovery found in the 12 Steps. All are welcome, regardless of your current spiritual beliefs or stance. We are called to be like Jesus and therefore, we will serve and create community here in Charlotte. Let us all praise the King from the Queen!

April Parker
Campus Lead / Prayer Team Coordinator
God pulled me out of a life that was broken and bound, and placed a calling on my life to serve those still searching for freedom. Today, I serve as the Operations Director of Ascend Recovery Center and the President of Recovery Residences of the Carolinas, where I have the honor of walking alongside men and women as they encounter healing, restoration, and a new way of life through Jesus Christ.
My heart burns to see lives transformed—not just sober, but set free. I am deeply passionate about bringing faith and recovery together, helping others discover that true freedom comes through surrender, community, and a relationship with God. I believe no one is too far gone, and that Jesus still saves, restores, and redeems today.
I am expectant for God to move in power, break chains, and raise up a community of people walking in freedom and purpose. It is a blessing to serve at Recovery Church Queen City.

Cory Petty
Community & Connections
Jesus met me in a place of deep brokenness, addiction, and loneliness; when so many relationships in my life were damaged or gone. What I could not fix, He restored. What I had given up on, He began to rebuild. Through Him, I have experienced not just sobriety, but true rebirth.
My heart is to show people that Jesus still sees them, still loves them, and still has the power to restore what’s been lost. I am grateful for this daily opportunity through Anchor of Hope Sober Living. I believe He heals relationships, rebuilds lives, and brings purpose out of pain.
I believe Jesus is still setting people free, still rebuilding families, and still bringing the lonely into a place they can finally call home. It is an honor to serve at Recovery Church Queen City.

Josh Bone
Campus Lead
Growing up, I didn’t want to be a doctor or a fireman, I wanted to be a preacher. I saw my first Pastor breathe life into the congregation, to speak with boldness, authority and hope. I prayed God would use me in that way at some point.
Through my own decisions, God had a different plan. Lost in active addiction and alcoholism for over a decade, I was weaving a story that is now the key to helping others. Who knew my greatest testimony would come not from my plan, but God’s amazing grace.
I currently serve our community in many facets, from clinical treatment to sober living. God has given me opportunities beyond what I could have imagined. The honor to serve in this capacity is another one on the list. Grateful for the beacon of Light RCQC will be for the city of Charlotte, NC.
