The Service
Recovery Church Saukville meets every Tuesday at River of Life Lutheran Church in… you guessed it, Saukville, WI. The service begins with 2 or 3 worship songs followed by an opportunity to pick up a white surrender cross. These crosses represent the desire to be free from the slavery of alcohol and drugs, and mark the first step of surrender on the path to a new life. Then there will be a message or testimony of hope, followed by a time of open share. Afterwards we will have a time of fellowship for those who can stick around a bit. On the last Tuesday of the month we will hand out crosses of different colors to celebrate sobriety/ clean time.

John Murray
Campus Lead
John Murray is the Campus Lead for Recovery Church Saukville. He dearly loves serving in this capacity. During his active alcoholism and addiction he played electric guitar and sang background vocals for a couple bands in his home state of Indiana. He has found employing his gifts and talents, in the way they were intended, to be so much more rewarding and fulfilling. In his spare time he enjoys giving back what he was so freely given through sponsorship and a weekly h and I commitment.
