Hi, my name is Craig Gardner. I am 61 years old and happily married to my beautiful wife Cyndie. We have two beautiful adult daughters, two wonderful adult sons, and three amazing grandchildren. My childhood was filled with neglect, sex, alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs. With that came lying, cheating, and stealing. My teen years were filled with anger, blackouts, violence, and attempted suicide. I never in my younger years believed in God. However, I remember being in the woods shaking my fists at him, cursing him for allowing all the mess in my life. Months later I begged God to kill me and destroy my life. He did exactly that. I found myself attending AA and NA where I found a new life. My past pain started to fade, the meetings were a lifeline for me. The 12 steps, sponsors, and most of all Jesus changed everything about my life. My mission in life is see people rescued from addiction and to come to accept Jesus as their Lord and savior. If you ask me what the greatest thing in my life is, I would say, “My relationship with God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit.”

Hello, my name is Gary DuBois. For years, the weight of military service, trauma, and deep isolation left me feeling completely hopeless, but God had a different plan for my life. As a retired US Army veteran and trauma survivor, I know firsthand what it feels like to be trapped in the dark- but through the grace of Jesus Christ, I found true healing and a brand-new purpose. God didn’t just pull me out of the pain; he transformed my scars into a calling, leading to become a chaplain, a peer recovery specialist, and the founder of “Rooted Recovery Resources”. Today, along side my beautiful wife Stacy, I am living proof that no matter how deep your trauma or struggle is, you can get firmly rooted in Christ, break the chains of the past, and step into a life of lasting restoration and joy.

Hello all, my name is Matthew Michaud And i was born and raised in the south coast of Massachusetts. I am 35 years old and recently just got married! I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for God’s love and grace. I have a passion for helping people and believe it was my God given purpose on this earth. I have struggled with ADHD and impulsivity that lead me to be addicted to anything that would give me the smallest amount of joy and stimulation, whether it be substances or activities that would put myself and everything that I love in jeopardy. I am a firm believer in the fact that Christ my lord and savior can do anything. The power of faith and submission to his will coupled with community and “the human connection” is the best thing anyone can find in this world. In my free time I love to go for runs, play music, and yes I still play video games.

Hey family, I look forward to meeting you all. Fall River is where I was born and raised, Fall River has a special place in my heart. I lived a pretty toxic life for practically the span of my existence up until recently. I have done many bad things and struggled with tons of disabilities, mental health issues, and addictions. However by the grace of God I have been freed from the obsession of drinking and drugs, and been successful in self control, especially when dealing with my disabilities. God has done for me everything I could never do for myself. I have come a long way from where I once was. I am today a father of two beautiful children and a loving and supportive husband. With the help of the 12 steps of recovery and Jesus I have had the recipe to wisdom and freedom. I can’t wait to see you at our service!

My extensive background in human services includes over a decade of supporting youth and individuals navigating behavioral and mental health issues, alongside a robust professional history in administrative management and organizational leadership. Grounded in my faith and studies in Psychology (Addictions & Recovery) at Liberty University and Life Coaching at Light University. I am deeply committed to walking alongside individuals to help them break free from strongholds and live a life of true freedom.
